The Highlights and Green Caves Lanzarote Tour

This highlights tour of Lanzarote takes you to some of the best attractions on the island including The Timanfaya National Park, The Green Caves, Jameos del Agua and Mirador del Rio. It offers hotel / accommodation collection and drop off and is perfect for anyone wanted to explore the top volcanic and architectural wonders in Lanzarote.

The Timanfaya National Park

Without a doubt, the jewel in the crown of all things to see and do in Lanzarote, the Timanfaya National Park is a protected area on the west coast of the island. The park is 19.72 sq miles in size and made up entirely of volcanoes and lava fields, created during the eruptions that took place between 1730 and 1736. The tour around the Timanfaya National Park is by coach as you're guided around the Lunar Route. You'll also get to witness just how hot the ground is a few meters beneath your feet through Geyser and Fire demonstrations.

Cueva de Los Verdes Tour

You don't need to be a seasoned caver to experience the Green Caves of Lanzarote. This guided tour covers around 2km of the 7km long lava tunnel created by the Volcán de la Corona, some 4000 years ago. The tunnel, thought to be one of the longest lava tunnels in the world, has been converted into an attraction so is easily accessible by foot, with handrails and ambient sound and lighting. As a group you follow a tour guide around the path taking in the wonderful sights of the caves and hearing about their history and how they were created.

Jameos del Agua

Part of the same lava tunnel as its neighbour, The Green Caves, Jameos del Agua offers visitors a cafe, subterranean salt water lake that is home to the native albino crabs, a sculpted garden and swimming pool that was built for the King of Spain (guests aren't allowed to enter the pool) and an auditorium built inside the lava tunnel itself. There is also a gift shop here with plenty of great quality souvenirs of your day exploring.

How to book the Lanzarote Highlights Tour

This tour books up fast as its one of the few that go to the Green Caves. To avoid disappointment on the day we strongly recommend that you book your tickets in advance. You can do this easily by selecting how many guests and the date you want to take the tour. Enjoy exploring Lanzarote!
