The Playa Blanca Market
This half day excursion runs every Wednesday and Saturday. You'll have free time to walk around the Marina Rubicon, where you will be greeted with market stalls lining the quay side. Enjoy a coffee or bite to eat in a choice of fantastic, high quality restaurants and cafes and admire the boats moored on the jetties.
The market is a great place to find unique, hand crafted goods that make for great gifts or souvenirs of your holiday in Lanzarote.
Playa Blanca Town
Following on from your time in the market, you'll then be able to spend some free time exploring the town of Playa Blanca. This is arguably the smallest resort of the three main coastal towns in Lanzarote but what it lacks in size it makes up for in charm and character. The promenade of Playa Blanca actually stretches from Las Colorados right down to the Lighthouse on the Southern tip of the island. As the promenade passes the town you have the golden sands of Playa Dorada and the Town Beach (Playa Blanca), and a number of delightful restaurants and cafes, which are the perfect place to sit outside and watch the world go by as you enjoy a light tapas lunch and bottle of wine.
If feel like you haven't satisfied your shopping needs at the market earlier in the day, the town of Playa Blanca has a large number of shops selling quality goods from Perfumes to Clothes.
